Game Copies, DLC & Other game content/feature access items

Charede Gaming may accept from publishers copies of games for the purpose of review, lets play or any other coverage. We can where appropriate also accept DLC, expansions, in-game currency and any items which may be relevant to ensuring we can provide full, accurate coverage and further developed opinion on other aspects of the product we would not otherwise have access.

Charede Gaming will distribute these copies to the relevant staff we have elected to provide the coverage. Members of our team can ask for copies of games outside of the requests we as an organisation submit however they are required to disclose this to our editorial and administration team.

Travel, Meal Costs & Event Tickets

From time to time we may accept the coverage of our travel and event ticket costs associated with reviews which can only be completed as part of attending a gaming/film event. We do not permit the coverage of travel and other expenses outside of what is essential to provide the coverage. In a majority of cases, Charede Gaming covers the cost for our team to attend events and reimburse our staff on returning from such events. However, our budget may not always stretch to this and by working with the other organisations involved enables us to do so.

It is important to note that specifically in the case of reviews we will not accept travel, accommodation and meal costs. We do this to ensure it cannot affect our writer's judgement on the product that they are reviewing. We value honesty and want to ensure that our viewership receives this all the time.

Gifts & Merchandise

Charede Gaming may accept gifts including products and merchandise with the intention to cover the product be it for review or any other form of coverage. In the event, a member of our team has received gifts or products in conjunction with a particular piece of coverage they are required to disclose this to the management team. Any gifts received are the property of Charede Gaming and will be distributed at the discretion of the editorial and administration team. We may use gifts to improve production value such as in the case of using gifts as props e.g. t-shirts & posters etc. At all times staff and third party content providers must disclose any review copies, gifts and merchandise received. Anything received will be disclosed in the information grid attached to the article review and descriptions in videos. In the event someone on our content creation team or third party content providers goes outside of our terms then they will be subject to penalties and the content associated with the gifts will be removed from the site.

In the case of reviews, we will limit staffs access to gifts to purely the review copy of the game and any associated in game items/in game currency/expansions/DLC required to ensure a detailed review can be adequately produced of an accurate and high standard. Access to items such as toys, shirts and extra items will be used as props in videos and will remain the property of Charede Gaming. These items will be kept within our prop library or used as part of a community giveaway event.
